To EY. from Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} " Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " C. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} " C. S. - Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} URGENT. +cH17 Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}12/W26.11.25. Re Chassis No. 14-TM - Juan Correa. Please note the following in reference to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/H18.11.25 :- ENGINE. This engine is fitted with low compression Pistons, and when received here a 1/16" liner was fitted under the Cylinders. We propose fitting high compression Pistons. FAN. A high speed Fan is fitted, and we propose to leave this. BONNET. The Bonnet is fitted with the standard sliding shutters; as customer objects to louvres we propose to leave this as it is. AXLE. A 15/52 tooth axle is fitted, and we should be glad to know if this could be changed to advantage for a 14/50 tooth Axle. We should be glad if BY, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} or others can recommend anything further which may be fitted to the car to overcome the complaint of boiling. We should be glad of an early reply as customer is pressing us for delivery. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
