re Phantom III Clutches.

We are advised by Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/CM. that you have enquired by 'phone about a further supply of clutch plates.

We sent you two on 13th inst. and three more on 19th.

Will you kindly advise us by return if these are fitted and chassis Nos. as this is important for our records.

Supplies at present are rather tight, and a Depot sheet is being prepared dealing with the subject generally, and for the moment we must ask you to limit replacements to actual complaints when you agree that the existing clutch is bad.

We quite appreciate that if the clutch actually has to be dismantled and a new plate fitted the cushioned plate should be fitted, but the difficulty at present is to provide adequate supplies for replacements.

If you are in urgent need of a few plates please let us know, and we will endeavour to let you have a few.
