YOUR REF.

26th April 1934.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of W.A. Robotham Esq.

The writer would like to thank you for the courtesy shown to him on the occasion of his visit yesterday, by both your goodself and Mr. Grylls, and also for the opportunity of discussing the performance of the Aerolite Pistons you have had on test.

As arranged, we are proceeding with the production of two further sets of pistons in R.R.53, on which we propose to incorporate the revised clearances which the tests appear to indicate. We are, in the meantime, getting into touch with the owners of the "Alumilite" patents in this country, with a view to having these pistons treated by this process.

We should be glad to receive your covering order for these two further sets, and when the pistons in 122 alloy, which have now been withdrawn from service, reach us for our further examination, we will credit as arranged.

Yours faithfully,
pp THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO. LTD.
