COPY. THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD., ALMA STREET, COVENTRY, APRIL. 16TH. 1920, JSM/CH.640. BY/Mtn14/h.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Rd., Derby. Dear Sirs, CHASSIS - REAR HUBS AND BRAKE. RE WHEELS. With further reference to your favour of the 5th. inst. and confirming previous correspondence on the subject, we are glad to say that the necessary jigs, as altered, are coming through within the next few days, and assuming, as we are confident, that they will now bulge the wheel shells as desired, we shall at once proceed with a set of wheels incorporating both the improvements under discussion in order to give your experimental department the opportunity of thoroughly testing the wheels. This matter is having the closest attention of the writer who feels confident that with the improved method of spoking, commenced on 5th. December last, and the bulging of the wheel shells, a highly satisfactory wheel will result. Yours faithfully, FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD. | ||
