Attention Mr. N. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Chandler.

Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge with many thanks receipt of your letter of the 16th inst, and agree that the various points mentioned therein confirm discussion which took place during the recent visit of your Mr. Chandler to our Works.

We would however point out in connection with the Bentley that both the six and twenty five Driven Plates, ordered from America, are of Borg & Beck manufacture and not Long as mentioned in your letter.

The compound Cushion Segment Construction of the Long and Borg & Beck is similar in many respects, but we are calling your attention to the above in order that the position shall be clear between us.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
