Dear Bill, I have been thinking more about this motor and perhaps the exchange price is not so bad in spite of the Purchase Tax having regard to the inflated 2nd hand values. My motor is 1939 I would get £1400 or £1500 for it wouldn't I? it has done 36000 miles and is OK all round.
