NO. 5 TEST HOUSE.

The following items are still outstanding for the completion of the above test House.

(1) Electrical.

Two extra lights are required and two existing lights require moving about 3 ft. Old switchboard should be removed. 100 volt D.C. requires conduit and wall plug fixing as before.

(2) Heating.

Robinson heater should be removed and steam radiators fitted as in No. 30 bed.

(3) Lifting Tackle.

The Universal bed is without lifting tackle. Two sets of pulley blocks were removed but these have not yet been replaced.

(4) Cooling System.

The cooling tank on the Universal bed requires lagging. We can make no tests on heat to cooling water until this has been completed.

(5) Phantom III bed.

This requires completing, mainly pipe work, but controls will have to be fitted as well. We suggest controls as used on the Universal bed as ideal, they are a great improvement over the old type.

(6) Office.

This still requires desk, drawers, lighting and heating, and if possible a drawing board of sufficient size to take size 4 or 5 drawings. The drawing board need have no hinges as it is intended to rest it on the window ledge and desk, from which we can make it detachable.
