Biraben}6/ML.3.8.27, by which we issued the Side Spare Wheel Carrier modifications to suit 31" x 6" Cord Balloon(Buttressed Tyres) on 19"Rims (Wire Wheels), please receive herewith one blueprint of each of the following:- F.55229 Supporting Tube O.S. 1 off per chassis. F.55230 N.S. 1 " " " F.55231 Socket for Side Spare Wheel Tube. 1 " " " Kindly instruct for each of the above parts to be produced and fitted Experimentally, noting that they are required to suit the above mentioned tyres on Artillery Wheels. The remaining parts required should be instructed in accordance with the Standard L.O.P. F.54601. This completes the issue of parts required for the Special Tyres on Artillery Wheels, the modifications to Lock Angles, Wings and Luggage Grid as instructed for Wire Wheels will apply to the Artillery Wheels.
