We do not want you to fit the 'General' bye pass filter and special pipes as received in accordance with your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}6/JAB.22.8.37.

Since sending this out we have found that the 'General' filter is not obtainable here and as an alter-native we are to try the A.C. type of filter.

At the moment, however, we are waiting for information regarding the latter, so that until you hear further, carry on with the Wraith in existing form.

We should like to hear from you with regard to the performance of the General bye-pass filter on 32-EX. as you have not given much indication in the Daily Reports as to whether it is doing any good or not.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}
