BENTLEY 111 and BENTLEY 50.

BATTERY AND MOUNTING.

Please receive herewith the following scheme :-
F.CD.970 Modified Fixing for Battery. (2 sheets).

The above scheme shews the battery in position under the driver's seat. It is supported by angle irons from the front Rt.Hd. {Mr Hayward / Mr Huddy} gusset, to an angle iron attached to the frame and cross.

The studs are fixed permanently into dead eyes at the bottom and not nuts as previously, in order to prevent the Works from box spannering underneath with too great a load, which tends to break the lugs off the battery box.

The position of the petrol pump has been altered to make room for the battery, and is now situated under the floorboards of the rear seats.

Please instruct to the Experimental Department.
