I think it is more important to have a chart for
these than for the C.O.L. which takes care of itself.

(p.38) Is it decided to supply the Enots gun? Have written
America but have no reply yet. Not very important
but Enots gun seems rather large and expensive for
attention to 4 points only.

(p.39) Note re not using excessive pressure appears so
important as to suggest that it may be an advantage to
stick to the Enots gun. (We should have a note from
EWA about this).

(p.40) "Every 500 miles". Delete.

(p.41 and Inset Leaflet) Shall we run the water pump without lubrication?
Await Expl. report.

(p.41) R.{Sir Henry Royce} Axle Oil System. Lubrication now on C.O.L.
Sliding Joint. Can this not be made the same mileage
as universal joints, instead of sliding joint 1000 m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}
and universal joints 5000? Packard (who use Mechanics
Joints) say every 2500 M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} for all three jobs.
Last item: Should not ignition cam and magneto bearings
be dealt with under 2000 mile items (dynamo bearings etc)
and not put at the bottom of the list of control joints
etc. which will seldom receive attention?

(p.42) Item 1. Believe unnecessary to touch this strainer
with new main oil filter.

2000 mile items. "Generator" is usual Am. term not
"dynamo".
Steering Box: We find filling twice (or even once)
a year is ample.
Steering Col: Believe seldom done or necessary.
Clutch Levers: Believe seldom done or necessary.
4 points - not 8.
Clutch Coupling Sleeve: This is actually oil for the serrated
coupling and bearings. It is expected
to do this automatically from the
gearbox on L.H. P.II.
