The removal of unsuitable D.W.S. Jacks and the fitting of Jack Pads to a chassis.

To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X300a (2) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}12/KW.17.9.35. 2-S-I. It has been decided to remove D.W.S. Jacks from the above chassis, as they are unsuitable. Will you therefore please have Jack Pads to N.Sch.4499 fitted to the front triangle. With regard to the rear pads, we have decided that the brackets which originally carried the D.W.S. Jacks can be made suitable for taking a Ph.II Dunlop Jack.
