In connection with the further modifications on E.A.C.2, the D.O. should note that the following parts need attention from our point of view;- (1) W.W. suggest that we could go ahead and make a layout of the Dashboard, Bonnet and Radiator as soon as the outline of the latter is supplied from W.W. (2) It is proposed to use a Vacuum system instead of the present pressure one - apparently, however, it is now intended to work the vacuum off the induction system instead of by a special pump as recently suggested by Mr Royce. (3) W.W. suggest that we could get ahead and make a layout and design for the wiring similar to the 20HP, using the Switches and Distribution Board of the 20HP. It should be noted in connection with the wiring that it is proposed to use a changeover switch to accommodate the two ignitions. This means that normally on the switch itself two ignitions will always be firing, but by the use of the changeover switch it will be possible to have the following positions;- a/- Either ignitions separately. b/- both together. c/- Both off. In dealing with the question of the Vacuum Tank and the Wiring, Mr Booth will then be able to make a layout of the Dashboard, taking the E.A.C.1. dimensions of Dashboard as being correct, also apparently the position of the Steering Column will be similar to E.A.C.1. (4) D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Dept. should note that the introduction of the earthed wiring will demand the earthing motor on one side. contd.
