ALUMINIUM CASTINGS.

Will you find out whether the Birmal castings are any lighter than the Rolls-Royce castings with regard to the P.III crankcase.

Will you also find out from Birmals whether they think they could reduce the weight of this casting if they were given a free hand, i.e., are there any sections which they could make thinner which we should agree could be reduced ?
