Fix for an oil leak in a Marles steering box by moving the Patent No. Plate.

| C O P Y. To G.W.H. Chateauroux. Cricklewood. 8.7.36. Enclosed is a sketch of the Marles steering box. Trouble has been experienced with oil leaking from the rivets holding the Patent No. Plate to the box. I suggest that it might be fitted to the taper part of the column, where the oil level is lower than the rivets. It could be seen clearly there, and should give no further trouble.
