BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X4005 P.2. MODIFIED MOUNTING TO CURE BOOMS. C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FL/M19.5.31. We send you herewith LeC. 2910. shewing the torque carrying feet to suit the so-called diamond mounting. These feet are so arranged that the rubbers can be easily removed and adjusted for fit. They go on the existing crankchamber and when it is required to remove the engine entirely from the frame we rely on the bolts being removed from the engine arms as provided on the existing design.
