Start again with clean oil and change element every 3,000 miles. Treat samples as 9.B.V,

4.B.50.

This oil is not cleaning up properly. Take a sample test tube and blotting paper specimen, then change the filter element and run another thousand miles. If still no better, change filter complete, start with new element and try again, on the same oil.

1 - R - 1.

Change the filter element after taking the necessary samples and repeat samples every thousand miles. The filter element on this car should be changed every 5,000 miles.

1.B.50.

Take large test tube and blotting paper specimens of the oil. Fit a filter and element keeping the existing oil, and take small test tube and blotting paper samples every 100 miles and a large test tube sample every 1,000 miles until the oil is cleaned up.
