Modifying the Bijur drive for a 20/25 HP motor and proposing a new starter for Bensport engines.

This drive will probably have to be fitted with a stronger spring, in order to cope with the Bensport starting conditions, and if this is done we are afraid that the special feature of this drive - i.e. its capability to slip under over-load conditions - will be lost. We suggest that the possibility of fitting the Japan sequence starter to the Bensport engine should be considered for future Bensport design.
