You will remember when I was last at the Works you mentioned that you wished us to take over one of your Wraith experimental cars. You apparently had in mind the fact that we could use it at once and therefore get some mileage into it, but as we were unable for obvious reasons to do that the car still remains with you.

If however it is your wish to dispose of this car inasmuch as it is surplus to your requirements, we could probably take it over at a date in the future which will permit of the car being renovated as regards chassis and coachwork as may be necessary, and have it available for some use yet to be decided from the date when we announce this car to the Public. I have in mind that we might perhaps hand it over to one of our Inspectors, who could doubtless make good use of it where there is no Demonstration Car to be available at first after the announcement of this model.

If such an arrangement suits your plans, which would mean that we should probably have to have the car with the chassis in first-class order by about the end of August, and if this proposal is acceptable, I will then seek the necessary approval on hearing from you.
