The price of Ethylene Glycol and Prestone in England is 11/6d. per gallon. Preston is of course nothing more than Ethylene Glycol. 25% by volume is sufficient to give protection from the severest frost likely to occur in England, (i.e. to 22° of frost Fahn). The capacity of the standard P.II car is approx. 7 galls., therefore the amount of anti freezing mixture required will be 1 3/4 galls. costing approximately £1. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A.
