S/W. V293 "PEREGRINE." HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/L103/K76.233. Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}18/I/17-2-33. Thanks for the information concerning the body on 3 PER.11. If the car is back at the Works when Park Ward's men come up again in the near future, you will no doubt give them an opportunity of looking over the points criticised. We note what you write about wind noises. Before Park Ward's ment went to the Works we had warned them that we were receiving complaints of wind noises on the experimental bodies and it was understood they would try to tackle these. It has been found by experience that attention to the front end of a sliding roof, or rather to the junction between the sliding roof and the fixed rail above the screen will make an appreciable difference to wind noises, and we think Park Ward's men may have borne in mind the need for attention to this point when they were tackling the roofs. In any case you doubtless know which is the car that was early criticised as being bad for wind noises and be able to say whether it is still as bad as it was. LID{A. J. Lidsey} Hn{F. C.
