X898 6027 3 To HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/RD. from EFC. EFC2/T23.5.27. PUNCHED ARMATURE PLATES FOR DYNAMOS AND MOTORS. X294 X543 X4152 X8621 X8660 Please refer back to our EFC3/T5.5.27. So far we have not standardised the use of any punched plates, but as stated we do not look upon this as a question of test. The first one to do would appear to be the 20 HP. motor as it is satisfactory in other respects. In regard to 40/50 and 20 HP. dynamos, each of which have 29 slots, as there is some possibility, especially in the latter case, of these being altered to 28 slots, perhaps the question should be held in abeyance for the moment, but immediately put in hand when or if the 28 slot machines are standardised. In regard to the sequence motor, this cannot be done at present because it is possible the armature may be altered. In regard to the 6" Phantom motor with 45 slots, perhaps you would decide whether any manufacturing advantage would be realised, which seems doubtful. We expect to hear some word from you as to the result of our EFC3/T5.5.27. EFC. | ||
