"NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I" STEERING.

The exact position regarding the various modifications which are in course of being incorporated in the 'New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I' steering is not at all clear.

Very many parts are involved and it would be of material assistance in dealing with this matter, if you could give some indication of the exact present situation as regards each item.

The items which immediately come to mind are :

(1) Reduced lead to worm .720 - understood to be in production.
(2) Stay between steering column and dash - 'C' and 'D' positions; - understood to be in production.
(3) Reduced strength of side steering tube springs - (now 3500 lbs) - exact position not known.
(4) New Front Wheel Pivots (part of new light axle) understood to be in production.
(5) Spring loaded Ball joints on Cross Steering tube. - exact position not known.

There probably are other minor alterations in contemplation also.
