1217 To RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}; from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}:S/KT.11.11.33. FULLY BALANCED CRANKSHAFT - BENTLEY. We want to run a crankshaft fully balanced for tests on high speed roughness. This is easiest done by making new balance weights for the Chrysler type shaft Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}505 ex CXIII unit now in the stores. Will you please make a set of balance weights the same shape as those on this shaft but .950 wide overhanging .250 towards the connecting rod. These weights will balance the crankshaft, dural rods, and half the piston at the crank radius. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
