With further reference to the conversation of your Mr. Leslie with our Mr. R.P. Turner of yesterday, and in acknowledgement of your letter of the 4th inst; we would confirm having received the special steel for the Mainsprings, Reinforcement Plates and Eyeroll Studs in connection with the three special bumpers we are manufacturing for you. We regret to state that at the present moment we do not feel that we can give you a definite delivery date, owing, among other things, to the fact that the material for the Mainsprings is to be machined to form which is a somewhat lengthy and costly process. We should like you to leave the matter for a day or two when we will endeavour to let you have a definite completion date.
