Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1204 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.28.5.37. SINTERCORUND PLUGS. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E26.5.37, point burning is definitely worse with these Sintercorund plugs than with the plugs which they supercede; on the other hand, they are not so susceptible to lead attack, and less liable to oil up. Up to the present, in the case of customers, they appear to be giving better results than the plugs which they replace. We are not at all satisfied with point burning, however, and this is receiving very serious attention. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
