With reference to memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}22/KW. 11.11.35. re 25 HP. Unit No. B.15 for the car which is shortly going to France, this engine has been fitted with a set of Bentley ratio timing gears 19 DP. with 45º helix angle.

In the opinion of the Engine Gear Dept. we are very pleased with the promise shown by this set of gears, and they have been passed off our stand as very good and smooth and they have actually been less trouble than the standard gears.

We shall be very pleased to have reports from time to time as to how these are behaving during the run in France.

Sft.{Mr Swift}
