6122 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/KW. 25th April, 1934. The Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd., Exide Works, Clifton Junction, Nr. Manchester. For the attention of Mr. E.C.McKinnon. Dear Mr. McKinnon, I have had a little Brochure put into my hands describing a new Battery dope called "Acculight". This stuff apparently charges the battery independently of using any acid ? and we understand from the leaflet that it is being used successfully by a number of large concerns, including the Cunard Steamship Co., and also by the Swiss Federal Railways and other very important looking concerns. As I know you make a hobby of personally investigating these dopes I should be very much obliged if you would let me have your opinion about this one. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
