We have been experiencing some very bad results from the Elliott speedometer, in fact we have received complaints in respect of nearly every one supplied. We have taken this matter up with Elliotts on several occasions and they have promised better results in future, but so far nothing tangible appears to have happened. It seems that we shall have to look out for a more reliable instrument, and on mentioning the matter to P.N. he states that you are at present using the Waltham speedometer on the Experimental Car, which has given very excellent results. Can you recommend the Waltham in preference to the Elliott speedometer, and if so, could you tell us in what way you consider the Waltham superior? Also is the Waltham speedometer easily fitted to the present chassis? p.t.o. | ||
