BONNET SIDE STRIP.
We have been asked by RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/DMB. to consider the possibility of securing the Rest Angle to the Bonnet Side Strip by welding, instead of by riveting.
Drawings of this were produced at the request of HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/LX. and issued under BY/CS.1/HH.1.11.38.
We understand that sample pieces were fitted to an experimental chassis.
Would you kindly give us a report as to the suitability of the scheme for production.
