just sufficient range. This means that in the fully retarded position, the magneto sleeve has to be set against its extreme retarding stop.

The only fine adjustment remaining therefore is the serrated drive on the dynamo shaft. The teeth on this drive however only allow the magneto to be set to 6°. It is therefore possible in the extreme cases, the variation between the battery and magneto will be 3° on the flywheel.
