To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X7430 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG17.10.28. X7450 With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M10.10.28. There is no doubt that we could arrange to fit the latest type damped pendulum lever N. sch. 2800 on EAC.7. You will appreciate however that it will necessitate using a steering shaft, side steering tube, front ball end etc. and various other details. You will also appreciate that we are putting all we know into the 'SS{S. Smith}'. As a matter of fact, we anticipate we shall have this pendulum lever running on 'SS{S. Smith}' as soon as we can get it on EAC.7. However, if you still wish this lever to be tried on EAC.7. we will make the necessary bits.
