Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}C/MH.{M. Huckerby}2.5.39. VANDERVELL MAIN BEARINGS. In order to use the above people's latest main bearing material we have to modify the crankcase housing bore dimensions both on the B.60 EB.4669 and the B.80 EB.4670, which at present are 2.9025 +2 dia. to 2.9105 +2 dia. This new dimension is permanent and the drawings should be altered to suit, likewise the crankcases for B.80 Nos. 5 and 6 units and B.60 Nos. 5 and 6 should be bored to this new figure 2.9105. +2 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H.
