R.J.W. Massey, Esq.,

Beeston,
NOTTS:

Dear Mr. Massey,

We finished this morning the gearbox dynamometer test using some of the last 15 gallons of RR. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} oil.

This oil is very different from the five gallon sample you supplied some time ago. It has a very strong smell resembling Winter Green. After the test, all the shafts and gears in the box were coated a dull red.

Will you please let us know if all this is in order.

Yours sincerely,
