We think that with these larger valves we shall require still higher compression ratios. We should therefore like this head to be instructed with the crown lowered to give 7/1 c.r. with a C & A washer. Possibly when we get the first of the high compression ratios through we shall see whether this casting will do the job. Otherwise we shall have to make a special length of valve.
