Referring to one or two matters which I asked PN{Mr Northey} to discuss at Derby yesterday, firstly, re spare coil, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.14.2.33, and E16/HP16.2.33:

I understand the decision come to is that we should mount up a spare coil in a convenient space underneath the bonnet so that, in the event of trouble with the coil in use, the spare could be removed from its mounting quite easily and wired up in place of the other coil - in other words, instead of allowing the spare coil to be carried loose in the kit where it might be subjected to damage by wet or damp, which would render it useless when urgently needed, it will be carried under the bonnet.

This meets the case so far as my point was concerned.

Re Petrol Tank, referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/MJ.28.2.33 it is unnecessary to go over the ground discussed but merely to confirm the compromise arrived at, namely, that for production we will have an 18-gallon tank, two gallons of which will constitute the reserve portion.

EVS/3.3.33. I am advising EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} of this in reply to his
