RE "BUZZARD", "VULTURE" AND 40/50 H.P.
CHASSIS BONNET MODELS. X.4293c/d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

We send you herewith blue print of LeC.1212 altered in pencil to shew some modifications that should be made to these models before theyare sent to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town.

The main portion of the frame should now only be 23" above ground level. The front horns are to be swept up over the front axle to a height of 24.2". The rear portion of the frame is to be swept up over the back axle to a greater height than formerly above the ground.

Relative to the top of the frame the radiator should be 1" lower, as also the bonnet and dash, but the width of the radiator remains unaltered. This makes the Buzzard radiator exactly the same as the Vulture.

The Vulture model should be altered to have its chassis frame made to same as the Buzzard, as illustrated in pencil on the attached print. The height of its bonnet, however, and radiator, should be left unmodified, which will leave the radiator identical with the Buzzard, as indicated above.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
