| 47962 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/KW. 14th June, 1934. E.R. Hall, Esq., 53, Berkeley Court, LONDON, N.W.1. Dear Hall, Many thanks for your letter of the 12th inst. Here is a drawing of the proposed tank. We cannot get on with this tank until you give us the position and size of the filler. The position is of course fixed by the body you are fitting. Please let us have these particulars as soon as possible. The R.A.C. letter is quite clear but they do not mention increasing the size of petrol tank. As long as you will assure us in writing that this is O.K. that is all that is required. Will you please check up that this tank will not interfere with your coachwork as it may not coincide exactly with the rough sketch. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Corres. re new petrol tank & gauge for this job in file 251. | ||
