Re "Lodge" Sparking Plugs. X.681.

Na.{Mr Nadin} WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr14/010214.

10/2/14.

Your memo Na{Mr Nadin}21/IB5214 requested us to get the opinion of the Experimental Dept., on an attached letter (copy) from the Lodge Sparking Plug Co.

In response we give below Mr. Hives remarks:-

"This is what I should anticipate from the Lodge people, they alter or bring out a new plug about every week. I think we should insist on plugs similar to those we have experimented with. We might ask the Lodge people why the 2 pointed plug is better than the 3 for slow running. Also if less number of points are an advantage why not have a single spark."
