Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of Mr. Longley.

Dear Sirs,

We should be interested to hear what progress you are making in your attempts to produce stronger "No.6" facings.

We have been pushing ahead with the testing of our own type of driven plate, faced with "No.6", and we appear to have got one which gives a smooth take up and yet ought to be very durable. If convenient to you we should like to visit you on Tuesday, July 14th, to whirl one of these plates and also to discuss the question of moulding the rivet holes.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
