Copy to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1033 E.1/MN. 14th. July,1936. Messrs. Zenith Carburetter Co.Ltd., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex. For the attention of Mr.Fisher. Dear Sirs, Confirming our conversation at the Works here yesterday, I am sending you herewith blueprints of LeC.5195 and LeC.5199 showing the modifications to the Jet plugs and float pivot pins. It is agreed that the size of hexagon we show for the former, which we believe corresponds to 3/16ths. Whitworth, approximately .5" over the corners, is the largest that can be used on account of the box spanner clearing the recess in the float chamber. We think that all of these parts will remain quite satisfactorily tight if they have been screwed up in the normal way with a box spanner. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of ROLLS-ROYCE LTD., Chief Designer. From A.G.ELLIOTT. Att: LeC.5195. LeC.5199. | ||
