REPORT OF TEST ON BROCCOME PASS. WATER BOILING
Road. Good surface, winding, nine wide hairpin bends. Grade varies from 9 to 10%. Length 9 miles. 2nd gear used throughout. Weak mixture.
1st ascent Plate off | Air tempt. bottom summit | Loss of water.
| 27 c 12 c | 2 1/2 ltrs.
2nd ascent. Plate on | 24 c 10 c | 4 ltrs.
3rd ascent. Plate on bonnet off | 20 c 8 c | No water lost water temp. 84 c
