For the attention of C.S. Steadman Esq.

Referring to the Thermometer which we are making to your order No.47111. We find that the thermometer mechanism will not enable us to give you a dial as spaced on your drawing EXS.14. Will you please let us know if you would like the instrument marked off to Scheme 2 or 3 on attached print. If you particularly wish the spacing to be as on your drawing we will have to see if we can modify the mechanism but we are afraid that this will be a difficult job.
