The British Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Leyland,
Lancs.

For the attention of Mr. Sherwin.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming to-day's telephone conversation, we are requiring 2 rubbers F.87575 and 1 rubber G.82625, all having a Durometer hardness of 45-50.

In order to produce the rubbers F.87575 you have had to modify 2 of our steel inserts F.87576. The remaining inserts will be returned to us for modification.

In order to supply the inserts G.82623/4 for the rubber G.82625, we despatched to you by the 1.4 p.m. passenger train via Manchester, one complete filter F.82625, durometer 65-70. We require the rubber to be changed for some having a durometer of 45-50.

We are instructing our Order Office to send you an order to cover the cost of the three rubbers and the modification to the inserts.

Thank you for the trouble you have taken during to-day.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
