balancing is by locating from the reamed bolt holes which perhaps you would be agreeable to accept for initial supplies, pending completion of special jigs and fixtures such as indicated above.

We take it that you will be requiring the additional hole for flywheel locating peg and our suggestion is that same be in the same pitch circle as the bolt holes in the cover flange and to be reamed to the following dimensions:-

.3775 dia.
.376

such as we utilise on the 10" size clutch. We will also arrange to hold the cover assembly within a balance of 1/2 oz.in.

We would also call to your attention that on the enclosed drawing No.SK.30600 we have illustrated on the upper portion our spring flexible centre and in order to provide the necessary clearance between the damper springs and the flywheel/crankshaft nuts we have suggested the latter be let into the pilot bearing cup retainer.

In conclusion we should like to give you our assurance that we can promise production deliveries within 4 weeks providing you are agreeable to accept our standard production cover and means of location for balance, pending the special jigs and tools involved.

We would also thank you for Questionnaire Form giving particulars of the proposed application and have pleasure in returning herewith completed copy from which you will appreciate our specification No.BB.252 covers the complete clutch unit such as we would supply.

Regarding the question of "Hyco" woven linings we would advise that we are endeavouring to obtain samples and will place same in your hands as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
