HEAD VENTILATION. In reply to your query of fumes entering into the body. We have no actual experience of fumes, but we had noticed that the air temp. was warmer about the drivers head with the head ventilation fitted, this warm air is drawn up from underneath the scuttle. Having experienced this feature we have taken temperatures under various running conditions which we give below. Test (1) No Ventilators fitted front windows open. Under scuttle temp. 27°C. Front compartment level with drivers head 17°C. Test (2) Head ventilators fitted. One only in action. N.S. window closed. Under scuttle temp. 30°C. Front compartment level with drivers head 23° Test (3) Head ventilators fitted. BOTH IN ACTION AND WINDOWS DOWN Under scuttle temp. 29°C. Level with drivers head. 20°C. Test (4) All car windows closed so cutting out ventilation scheme. Under scuttle temp. 28°C. Level with drivers head. 25°C. | ||
