W/S. Es. From Ha/Ltd. c. to Mr. c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Ds. c. to Sy. Ha/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}14/MA,17.11.32. Re. PEREGRINE TOOL KIT. EA.23/1.11.32. We have noted the discussions arrived at with regard to tools for hub removal, valve spring removal, and supply of sparking plugs. Dealing with the other items. Tyre Pump. We have a sample Kinsman tyre pump which will be available for inspection the next time you are at Derby. Jack. We have a jack, supplied by Dunlops which satisfies all the dimensional demands of the car, and which has up to the present stood up to all the tests we have submitted it to. We think it will be suitable for the job, and have ordered six more so that we can obtain more experience with it before it will be required for production. Special Tools. The D.O. have been informed of the points which can with advantage be improved upon and we understand they are endeavouring to eliminate as many special tools as possible. Ha/Ltd. | ||
