RECEIVED 1931 MAY 9 20/25 HP. CHASSIS - SECOND HALF OF 'T' SERIES - PETROL TANK. ------------------------------------------------------ DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M.6.5.31. The question of raising the seatings for the gauge, filters, sump etc. in the main sheet of the tank instead of having to rivet on separate pressings has been considered for the present production type petrol tank, and we have promised the Works that we would modify our drawings to enable this to be done. To facilitate this, however, it is necessary that the portions to be pressed out from the main sheet are kept as shallow as possible. We have a drawing in hand showing the proposals in connection with the above, and we will include the suspension tube carried right through as you suggest, which will be submitted to you as soon as possible.
