To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X 2164 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}10/KW.23.9.35. B-56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Petrol System In memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}23/KW.19.9.35, we ask for the single pipe line reserve and warning light device to be incorporated with the petrol filter on the rear cross member. It has now been decided that as this scheme requires a new petrol tank, the warning light scheme is eliminated. Instead, will you please have a scheme drawn up whereby the main pipe line is filtered by the standard filter on the rear cross member and the reserve line is filtered by a cylindrical filter fitted to the reserve suction pipe in the rear tank, similar to the old type Ph.II tank filters. The attached sketch gives an idea of the scheme required. Will you please have this work carried out. This scheme is called for with a view to being able to convert a customer's standard system in the event of vapour lock. Flexible Petrol Pipe. We have in hand a new type flexible petrol pipe, which we wish to try out on the above chassis. This we will hand to you when required, the pipe being a "powerflex" product.
