6 To HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to Cd. " WOK. " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " BAY X3317 X4222 X4233 ORIGINAL. RE "GOSHAWK II". X4222 X4244 With reference to the undershield for the engine, Mr. Stent is at present busy on this, and it seems to make a very simple job. We are endeavouring to hold it up some-what on the same lines as the Buick, which was thought to be very convenient, and satisfactory. With reference to the half time wheelcase for pro-duction chassis, this Mr. Jenner hopes to send you to-morrow. You will remember that you have already received a temporary one for the present chassis suitable for the con-version of the combined spring drive into a separate spring drive and damper flywheel.
